Koh Samui
Chinese New Year on Koh Samui
An island stay around the Lunar New Year.
What to expect
Lunar New Year begins on 6 February 2027. It is an interesting travel period for an island break, but the calendar date is not a confirmed local parade or performance programme.
Plan your evening
We have not verified a 2027 public event programme for Samui. Keep your plans flexible and check local venue announcements closer to your stay rather than relying on previous years’ schedules.
Check the event’s exact venue and return transport. Chaweng events are on our island, but not every Samui venue is within walking distance.
Event information & booking
The source confirms the calendar date, not a Samui event ticket. Local celebrations and any paid activities will need their own booking information when announced.
