The turn of the year brings beach celebrations, dinners and nightlife to Samui. Chaweng offers a lively setting for the last evening of 2026. Koh Phangan also has a published Haad Rin countdown on 31 December, separate from the regular Full Moon dates.
Plan your evening
Choose your island for the night before committing to tickets. A dinner reservation, a club ticket and a boat crossing are different bookings. Decide how you will reach your bed after midnight.
For events on Koh Phangan, you need a boat crossing and local transport. Check the return journey with the operator before booking; a night boat is not guaranteed. Staying at Blackjack makes sense before or after your island visit.
