Lad Koh Viewpoint
Lad Koh opens up views along Samui’s eastern coast. It is an easy sightseeing stop on a drive from Blackjack towards Lamai.
What to expect
Lad Koh, also known as Zenith Viewpoint, lies on the coast road between Chaweng and Lamai. The attraction is a view of coast and sea, rather than a major mountain hike. Its position is particularly suited to sunrise.
Visitor tip
Do not stop at the upper terrace. Visitors recommend the paved paths to lower viewing platforms: the same location from a different angle. Turn a quick phone photograph into a short seaside pause. If you prefer fewer steps, enjoy the view from the top; the lower levels are an optional extra.
Things to watch
Parking is limited and directly beside a busy road. Plan your stop rather than turning abruptly. Tour groups stop here too, so do not expect complete solitude. One 2025 report criticised litter, while others praised the view. Think of it as a lovely stop along the way rather than a pristine wilderness.
