Na Muang Waterfall 1
Na Muang 1 offers a waterfall stop in Samui’s interior. It suits a nature day away from your Blackjack base.
What to expect
Na Muang 1 is the lower of the two well-known falls and considerably easier to reach than Na Muang 2. The local tourism association gives its height as eighteen metres.
Visitor tip
Look at the stream below the falls too: a 2026 visitor described the rocks, plants and waterways there as particularly beautiful. A relaxed nature break does not have to include the harder climb to the second waterfall.
Things to watch
A waterfall depends on the weather. Ask about current water levels before travelling; even in a supposedly favourable season, flow can be low. Heavy rain makes rocks and currents hazardous. Visitors also criticise crowds and elephant activities near the entrance. You can enjoy the waterfall as a nature destination without planning those activities.
