Na Muang Waterfall 2
Na Muang 2 involves a more demanding approach than the lower waterfall. Plan it as an active excursion from Blackjack.
What to expect
Na Muang 2 is higher and requires more walking than the lower fall. It is not another quick view beside a car park. The driving time shown from Blackjack does not include the additional climb.
Visitor tip
Decide according to the weather, trail condition and your own sure-footedness. One visitor found little water in August 2025; another praised an October visit. The same place can look very different, and a social-media photograph is not a reliable plan.
Things to watch
Do not approach cliff edges or unsecured upper rocks for photographs. Serious accidents have been documented here; in January 2026, a visitor died after falling while taking photos. We therefore recommend neither hidden climbing routes nor an infinity-pool spot.
Watch out: steep approach road
The approach road is steep. We have personally seen unsuitable or underpowered scooters stall on the slopes and tip over when stopping. Riders and passengers can be injured. Follow the warning signs. If you are unsure about the vehicle, load or your riding experience, do not ride a scooter up here; arrange a local transfer. More engine capacity alone does not guarantee a safe journey.
An easier alternative
Choose Na Muang 1 if you want an easier jungle break. Current weather and water conditions still matter there.
